with Marko Grobelnik from the J. Stefan Institute's Department for Intelligent Systems. Marko will introduce you to the state of the art in Semantic Technologies and share his views on the immediate future application to Business and R&D.

7:45 Open Discussion
Discussion of the Semantic Tech and BI cross-over will be led by Marco Neumann, the Organizer of the NY Semantic Web Meetup as well as Yuriy and Madhavan, Organizers of the NY Business Intelligence Meetup.

In coordination with the NY Semantic Web Meetup, this event will have a door charge of $5. All moneys collected will go into our event budget to (1) provide food and beverage services at our events (2) discourage no-shows.

Venue
1633 is a large office building. Security is tight. You must be on the RSVP list to gain admittance to the 26th Floor. Please call my (Yuriy) cell phone if you have trouble gaining entrance: [masked]. Take the middle elevator bank to the 26th floor. The event takes place in a large Conference Room. It is located directly behind the back door which stands opposite to the main, glass doors onto the floor with the security desk. If you enter through the front door you will have to walk all the way around. A sign will be posted on the back door to help you identify the location of the conference room.

Atmosphere
We are a very casual, informal and friendly group. Most members commute from work and are dressed anywhere from business casual to business attire. There is no mandatory dress code. Discussion is lightly moderated by the Organizers. We host both tenured professionals in the BI space as well as newbies who are just starting out or are simply interested in some of the concepts, technologies and off-shoots.
