Part 1: Sara Stonner will discuss topics around Data Quality, Masking and Profiling as it pertains to Business Intelligence. She will also present an overview of the current vendor landscape, including a feature matrix and best use case for each covered technology.
Sara Stonner is a tenured BI Professional with 12 years of BI experience in software development, database, internet, biotech and financial services industries. Sara is currently responsible for Business Intelligence Advisory and Managed Services with a leading Financial Services Firm.
Part 2: Peter Lindstadt and Amit Vaswani from Informatica will be joining us to demo their Data Masking / Data Quality Suite. Informatica Data Quality provides robust data analysis, data cleansing, data matching, exception handling, and reporting and monitoring capabilities so that data quality can be managed as an enterprise-wide initiative.

Appreciated Informatica's insight and their commitment to educate rather than sell product (unlike, ahem, some other presenters). Would be interesting to see a real case study presented that highlighted the real-world benefits/challenges and results of a DQ initiative.

Alex KrylovI enjoyed the top-level view on data quality and examples of typical issues/challenges within large organizations. I'd like to learn more about Informatica's AML-related features and tools, specifically identity resolution and scrubbing against OFAC lists.
