A little over a year, before that I worked for six years as an Application Developer.
What BI topics are of interest to you?
A couple of things: keep informed on best practices regarding the various facets of BI and capabilities of various vendor implementations out there; meet professionals in the "fact based decision making" area (data mining/analysis.)
How did you discover NYBI? (search, word of mouth, advertisement, etc)
