Map-Reduce/Hadoop/SQL readings, with vendor names:

Both blogs are in my RSS reader for daily checking, GigaOM covers
various technology topics, dbms2 is, you guessed, about databases...

In terms of general BI readings I find Steve Miller's blogposts on the

insightful.
