Who is a Meeting Sponsor?
A Meeting Sponsor is someone who graciously accommodates a Meetup gathering by providing a space fit for "round-table" discussion.
Which locations are preferred?
Anything close to NY subways. Mid-town and Financial District are preferred for ease of access. Locations will be picked to accommodate the majority - we may ever use Polls to keep things Democratic and fair.
How do I become a Meeting Sponsor?
Please reach out to Yuriy Krylov (organizer). Thanks in advance!
Does a Meeting Sponsor need to provide food and beverage?
It's nice to have some light refreshments at the Meetup. Ultimately, it is the sponsor's decision on how to best host a Meetup. Please speak with Yuriy Krylov to work out details.
What's in it for the Sponsor?
NYBI Meetup is building a community of BI professionals and innovators. We believe there is much value in vetting new products and services through our collective. Sponsors will be given an opportunity to present their products and services, collect feedback, engage members as a Focus Group for the last 15-30 minutes of the Meetup.
Any guidelines for a Sponsor?
Please keep content relevant and educational. Expect to be challenged by the audience and to engage in open discourse.
